Learning and Working Communities

At the Education, Personnel and Student Life Committee (EPSL) meeting held on December 6th, Provost Nolan Atkins explained how paid applied learning experiences can help reduce the cost of attendance for students and provide valuable educational and work experiences to students in the fields they are studying.  Provost Nolan was joined by Professor Ben Mirkin and student Kelvyn Abreu to share Kelvyn’s work with the Kingdom East School District, as part of the Outdoor Education, Leadership and Tourism program at NVU-Lyndon.
