Student Success

The student success team aims to create one, integrated student experience and support organization that will be accessible and equitable to all students. This is a new and comprehensive way of thinking about how to serve students across departments, allowing students have their needs met no matter where they are at Vermont State University. Our goal is to enable student success and keep them engaged through a student centered experience, support infrastructure, and academic culture.

These teams are doing the work to develop and design a holistic delivery of student success services and integrated support with the individualized focus students need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.

Goals and Priorities Include:

  • A single “front door” for one-stop student access.
  • Holistic and developmental support.
  • Intentional focus on equity and improved outcomes.
  • Emphasis on career readiness.
  • Leverage technology and staffing model for efficiency and effectiveness.
