The purpose of this project is to design implement and administer a Chancellor’s innovation Fund to support projects that: engage all stakeholders systemwide, including faculty, encourages interdepartmental and inter-campus teamwork, helping all campuses achieve VSCS’s Mission. This fund will support projects that promote cross-institutional collaboration; and help all campuses advance VSCS’s strategic priorities.
To accomplish these goals, we will:
- Develop and Confirm with the Chancellor any topics or other evaluative criteria to be used in making the awards.
- It is understood that awards will typically be made for projects that directly address and advance the System’s strategic objectives.
- Where an award requires the award implementation team will be assimilated into the Strategic Objectives Table of Organization, accountable to the OLC.
- Following the Chancellor’s timetable for each round of funding, the Team will recommend a schedule for announcement, submission, evaluation, and award.
