Developing Innovative Models to Reduce Student Cost

This project’s purpose is to design and implement initiatives to reduce per student cost while supporting educational equity, increasing student success, and maintaining academic quality. As part of this work, we will:

  1. Define financial vibrancy and health for the Vermont State Colleges and its member institutions
  2. Identify and describe models for increasing academic and administrative efficiency so to lower per student cost
  3. Improve planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the Vermont State Colleges to support the necessary investment in growth initiatives
  4. Model short-term and long-range financial forecasts for the system and institutions in support of programs and proposals
